DIY: IW Style headbow

In my experience, I wouldn't buy more headbows from Innocent World, not because they are bad made, but because I feel like they are, most of the time, pretty expensive and basic. I went to a street full of haberdashery in order to find ribbons to make it.
Materiales:
  • Tijeras y cinta métrica
  • 1 metro de listón tipo popotillo azul de 2 pulgadas
  • 1 metro de listón tipo popotillo blanco de 1 pulgada
  • 1 metro de cintillo dorado
  • Hilo azul, blanco y/o hilo de caña.
  • Agujas y alfileres
Materials:
  • Scissors and measuring tape
  • 1m grosgrain ribbon (2in width) in blue
  • 1m grosgrain ribbon (1in width) in white
  • 1.50m gold trim
  • Blue or white thread
  • Needles and pins

Procedimiento:
Process:
1. Cut a piece of 30cm, this will be our central bow, and another piece of 40cm, this one will be the main body of the headbow out of the blue and white ribons. Also cut 60cm out of the gold trim, this will be for the central bow, the rest will be used for the body.
2. With the help of some pins we are going to pin the golden trim to the white  ribbon and the white ribbon to the blue one, and now lets sew it together!. And to the 30cm part we are going to pin only the golden pieces.

3. When we have everything sewn together is time to make the folds. One at 7cm each side, then another one of 3cm,  and we will hace a free space in the center of 15cm. I recommend to pin it down before sewing.

5. Now that everything is sewn is time to ensamble. The bow, is made out of the 30cm piece and the leftover piece is going to be the piece that will held everything together.

5. If you feel like it's too long you can cut it, that's what I did and ended up quite happier with the outcome.
